Which intensives are open to both men and women?

The Virtual Intensives are open to men and women. Currently, Rest & Renewal Retreats, Mentoring Encounters, and Speaking Practicums are only available for women.

What if I want to come to an intensive, but can’t match my schedule to the available dates?

One option is to gather four other friends, select a few dates that work for all of you, and email Stephanie@truthportraits.com to see if Alicia is available to do a custom Lii for your group. If so, you can even request specific teaching topics or themes!

Also, you can subscribe to receive Lii updates (in the right sidebar on this page) to receive the earliest possible opportunity to sign up for the next Lii.

We would like to bring more than 5 for a Rest & Renewal Retreat is that possible?

Rest & Renewal is intentionally small to permit substantial one-on-one time with Alicia and interaction with each other. However, another option exists. You are welcome to reserve Rest Inn Rivendell for up to 20 guests and invite Alicia in to share on a specific topic or theme. She obviously won’t be able to offer 20 hours of one-on-ones, ☺ but she loves speaking with small groups and doing open Q&As.


What is the take-home of Rest & Renewal Retreats?

• Rest for your mind and body that only silence and stillness can offer.
• A re-centered First Love.
• Enough spiritual formation and teaching notes and ideas to digest for many, many weeks.
• A shared experience with Alicia and other women of like-heart.
• At least two hours of mentoring/spiritual direction with Alicia.

Since space is so limited for each intensive, how do I secure my spot?

After you have applied and your references have come in, Stephanie will send you a passcode and link to pay for your Lii+. That payment tells the team "I’m serious. I’m coming," and your spot is secured.


What if I have to cancel after I’ve been accepted to an Lii and paid?

Full-refunds are given for cancellations 60 days out. Less than 60 days out, $300 will be retained unless another person takes your place in which case the entire amount will be refunded.


How does Alicia select the small-group teaching material?

Every intensive participant will receive a brief questionnaire before they arrive. Alicia and her team will prayerfully pour over those responses to guide the teaching times, prepare for the one-on-ones, and customize each Lii for the specific souls God has brought together.


I simply can’t afford to attend an Lii. Do you have any suggestions?

Ask your church or district or organization if they would consider sponsoring you for a full or partial scholarship. Contact Stephanie to share your need. Sometimes people give donations toward scholarships. For Christmas and birthdays, ask friends/family to donate to your personal Lii fund and start saving! We hope to offer Lii for many years to come.


For now, I’d love to just experience Rest Inn Rivendell with a group of friends! How about staff retreats? reunions? vacations?

2. Stephanie will contact your references.
3. Upon acceptance to an Lii, Stephanie will contact you with a link for payment.
4. Your payment receipt is your guarantee of a spot at your chosen Lii.
